A fare payment system using palm scanning has started working in the Tashkent metro

In Tashkent, at the “Friendship of Peoples” metro station, a new fare payment system using palm scanning was launched. Now passengers do not have to take out their wallet or bank cards to pay for the trip. Afisha.uz reports this with reference to the Tashkent hokimiyat.

To register in the system, you need to download the ATTO mobile application and enter your personal data. After this, you can open a virtual card and top up its balance.

To pay for travel, just place your palm on the scanner installed on the turnstile. The system recognizes the vein pattern and automatically debits funds from the card.
