Abadan school teachers to pay for CCTV cameras

Several years ago security cameras were installed in Turkmen schools in order to tighten security measures. For instance, in Dashoguz and etraps CCTB cameras were installed four years ago at the entrance to school buildings, in hallways and teachers’rooms.

In school №32 of Ashgabat cameras were installed two years ago.In Abadan etrap (formerly Bezmein) camera installation works were launched in April to June 2021.

Correspondents of “Chronicles of Turkmenistan” report that according to a teacher from Abadan etrap, each teacher was obliged to pay 200 manats for the cameras installed in the halls and classrooms and another 200 manats will be retained from their next salary to install CCTV cameras in the school yard.

School teachers from the etraps say that each month they have to chip in to pay for seedlings and garden work, for various festivities and the hosting of numerous commissions.

Commissions from various supervisory authorities or joint commissions visit our school only to receive gifts, in my opinion, rather than perform their work-related responsibilities, an outraged teacher says.

Schools often employ single mothers but there are no exceptions for them.

If you refuse to pay, then your timetable will be changed so that you will have long “breaks” between lessons and will spend the whole day at school with only 3 to 4 lessons scheduled.

Alternatively, when needed, you will not be allowed to change classes with another teacher. In a nutshell, hurdles and obstacles will be created by the administration, a teacher from the school on the territory of the former village of Kipchak says. The post Abadan school teachers to pay for CCTV cameras first appeared on Chronicles of Turkmenistan.
