Ashgabat "Nepesov Trio" participates in the VII International Dushanbe ethno-jazz festival

Nepesov Trio musicians take part in the VII International Dushanbe ethno-jazz festival, which takes place in Tajikistan from April 28 to May 1.

The Nepes Trio included, respectively, Honored Art Worker of Turkmenistan Rovshen Nepesov, bass player Ashyr Veliyev and drummer Aram Bezikyan. This is reported by the publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

According to the program of the festival, tomorrow the Nepesov Trio will perform in Dushanbe's Kokhi Surush concert hall. Also on May 1, Turkmen musicians will hold a master class and a creative session at the Bactria Cultural Center.

Since its inception in 2009, the Dushanbe festival has become a significant event in the cultural calendar of Tajikistan. This year famous jazz musicians from Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, France, Germany, Italy, Greece, Czech Republic and Tajikistan take part in the festival.

The festival is organized by the Bactria Cultural Center with the support of the Swiss government as the main donor and initiator.
