Athletes from Turkmenistan claimed seven medals in kurash fight in the “Children of Asia”

Athletes from Turkmenistan won seven awards in the kurash fight on Sutarday at the international competitions “Children of Asia”, which are held in Russia.

Among the competition participants were the representatives from Armenia, India, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia and Pakistan.

The wrestlers from Turkmenistan have won two silver and five bronze medals.

“Silver” Sanjar Buriev (boys up to 42 kg) and Zinat Kochmatova (girls up to 44 kg).

The bronze medals were given to Dinislam Mahmasharifov (boys up to 50 kg), Seytnazar Hudayberdev (boys up to 60 kg), Narmurat Myradov (boys up to 71 kg), Dayanch Karayev (boys up to 83 kg) and Nurana Hezretov (girls up to 63 kg).

There are already 16 medals in the position of the national team of Turkmenistan. In the overall medal standings of the sports games “children of Asia”, the team of Turkmenistan took the ninth place.

The VII International sports games “Children of Asia” ends on August 9.
