Aziza Kurbanova from Turkmenistan won the bronze at the World Kurash Championship in India

The representative of Turkmenistan Aziza Kurbanova won the bronze medal at the World Kurash Championship.

The 13th World Kurash Championship was held on November 23-28 in the city of Pune (India). Wrestlers from 60 countries took part in the championship.

Turkmenistan was represented by 13 wrestlers (7 men and 6 women).

A 2nd year student of the State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports of Turkmenistan managed to win a bronze medal in the weight category up to 78 kilograms following the results of the tournament. On the way to the awards stand, the Turkmen athlete yieldsd only to the representatives of the Republic of Korea and Uzbekistan.
