Belgian Challenge Airlines Made Its First Cargo Flight to Turkmenistan

The Belgian airline Challenge Airlines made the first cargo flight to Turkmenistan to Ashgabat International Airport, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Belgium said in a press release.

The landmark event was followed by a video conference attended by the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Belgium, the management of Challenge Airlines, representatives of the Türkmenhowaýollary (Turkmen Airlines) Agency, the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan and specialists from Ashgabat International Airport.

The main discussions concerned the logistics and future plans of Challenge Airlines in Turkmenistan. The meeting was aimed at ensuring effective cooperation and achieving mutual benefits.

One of the important results was the desire to consolidate an intergovernmental agreement that establishes the principles and protocols for partnership between the civil aviation authorities of both countries.

Earlier, Challenge Airlines announced its plans to carry out cargo flights on the routes Ningbo (China) - Ashgabat and Ashgabat - Liege (Belgium).
