The President of Turkmenistan approved the volumes of petroleum products, including auto gasoline, diesel fuel and aviation kerosene for domestic consumers for 2021, having signed a relevant Resolution today during an extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers in Lebap, the Vatan news program of Turkmen television reported.
The document was signed “in accordance with the “Program for the Development of the Oil and Gas Industry of Turkmenistan for the Period up to 2030”, in order to ensure uninterrupted provision of institutions, enterprises, public associations, individual entrepreneurs and the population with oil products, as well as the successful fulfillment of tasks for their most rational use”.
During the visiting extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of a systematic increase in the production and processing of oil and natural gas, production of various petrochemical products, as well as expanding its range.
By signing the above-mentioned Resolution, the President of Turkmenistan instructed Deputy Prime Minister Myratgeldi Meredov, who is in charge of the government of the fuel and energy complex, to ensure the proper implementation of its provisions.
