Business Council Meeting TurkmenistanUSA Scheduled for December in Ashgabat

Turkmenistan's Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov met with U.S. Senator Steve Daines from Montana, a member of the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources, on Monday in Ashgabat. They focused on the upcoming Business Council meeting TurkmenistanUSA, scheduled for December of this year, as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

Participants emphasized the importance of this platform as an effective mechanism for strengthening bilateral cooperation. The council will discuss opportunities for collaboration with leading American companies, including General Electric, Boeing, John Deere, and Caterpillar.

Both sides acknowledged the success of their long-standing partnership across various sectors and expressed readiness to expand cooperation, including in the financial and banking sector.

During the talks, they addressed key aspects of political, cultural, and humanitarian collaboration, along with Turkmenistan's ongoing international energy projects.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to maintain regular contacts to further strengthen their partnership.
