Key meetings at the International Conference & Expo on the Development of the Construction, Industrial, Chemical, and Energy Sectors of Turkmenistan (CIET-2025) on Monday in Avaza confirmed the high level of Turkmenistan’s strategic partnerships with leading global companies, according to official Turkmen media.
Turkmenistan’s Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers for Energy, Construction, and Industry, Baymyrat Annamamedov, held meetings with representatives of Rönesans Endüstri Tesisleri, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, and Haldor Topsoe.
Discussions focused on the implementation of the second phase of the natural gas-to-gasoline plant in Ahal province, the construction of a ureaformaldehyde concentrate plant, and the introduction of advanced technologies for deep processing of natural gas and reducing carbon emissions.
In a meeting with Haldor Topsoe Vice President Peter Wang, both sides explored the potential application of catalytic and engineering solutions for the production of ammonia, methanol, and synthetic fuels, as well as the company’s prospective involvement in new gas chemical projects in Turkmenistan.
Minister of Construction and Architecture Abdulla Geldiyev held talks with Managing Partner of IBC Dış Ticaret Ali Yanar, focusing on the supply of construction materials, the use of energy-efficient technologies, and the implementation of modern architectural projects.
The discussions at CIET-2025 underscored Turkmenistan’s commitment to expanding international technological cooperation and developing innovative, low-carbon industries.
A package of documents was signed at the conclusion of the first day of the event.
