800,100 hectares was sown this year in the northern region with Nukus 2, Munbashy and Elenga pearl rice.Specialized farms of S.Turkmenbashy etrap, which successfully grow the rice that adapted to local soil and climate conditions, are the main producers of this agricultural crop.
Seeding material for them was prepared by the rice ginning facility located in the same etrap, which annually supplies up to 30,000 tons of high quality product meeting international standards to the consumers in the country.
it also has special department that prepare the seeding grain in automatic mode.
Dashoguz Velayat is one of the biggest rice producer in the country.Just in this year, it is planned to produce not less than 35,000 tons of the crop.
As for today, more than 4,220 tons of rice, which is 2 percent of total volume of the plan, have been harvested from 850 hectares.The State made all necessary conditions for efficient harvest campaign including the involvement of dozens of high productive harvesters and other specialized agricultural equipment.
