Delegates from Turkmenistan took an active part in the World Youth Festival in Sochi

Delegates from Turkmenistan took an active part in the World Youth Festival in Sochi, which was held on the federal territory of “Sirius” from March 1 to 7.

Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the University of Oil and Gas, the Turkmen State Institute of Finance, the Joint Turkmen-Russian Secondary School named after A.S. Pushkin, the Ministry of Finance and Economy of the country, UNICEF and the Russian Embassy in Ashgabat.

Within the framework of the festival, delegates from Turkmenistan attended lectures, techno shows and concerts, took part in meetings with politicians, scientists, athletes, theater and film artists, musicians and famous television workers.

Each day of the festival was dedicated to one theme, for example, “Opportunities for everyone,” “Family,” “Multinational unity”.

The Turkmen delegation presented national costumes, musical instruments, jewelry and traditional souvenirs at the stand of the Fair of Arts and Folk Arts, which brought together representatives from more than 150 countries.

The round dance of the peoples of the world, which united about two thousand young people, became one of the most striking and symbolic events of the festival.The multinational round dance of friendship, as the most massive, was recorded as a world record and was officially confirmed by the head of the international record registration agency “Interrecord”, Vladislav Kopylov.
