The opening of direct flights between Ashgabat and Abu Dhabi is an important event for the development of tourism ties between Turkmenistan and the UAE. This was stated by tourism industry expert Yana Kazakova in an interview with the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper.
According to her, previously Turkmen tourists more often chose trips to Dubai. However, Abu Dhabi, being the capital of the emirates, is also famous for its developed infrastructure and interesting attractions.
Must-see attractions include the grand Sheikh Zayed Mosque, the Louvre Abu Dhabi and Yas Island with its amusement parks. Beaches and luxury hotels await tourists on Saadiyat Island.
In addition, not far from Abu Dhabi there are nature reserves with unique inhabitants of the local fauna. For lovers of active recreation, the city has large entertainment centers Ferrari World and Yas Waterworld.
Thus, the new flight gives Turkmen citizens a chance to discover Abu Dhabi with its attractions and developed tourist infrastructure.
