Exhibition dedicated to the Day of the Great Victory opened in the Museum of history and local lore of the Lebap

The exhibition “Heroes of the Motherland live forever”, dedicated to May 9 the Day of the Great Victory, opened in the Museum of history and local lore of the Lebap velayat.

As informs the publication jeyhun.news, among the exhibits are letters from the front, samples of newspapers published during the war years, maps with schemes of places of military operations, items of soldier’s life of those years, field phones, cameras, orders and medals.

Also, photographs of jewelry, warm clothes, carpet products sent to help the front by Turkmen women are shown.

Before the opening of the exhibition, a solemn conference, dedicated to the 77th anniversary of the victory over fascism was held. Representatives of the Police Department of the Lebap velayat, the Department of the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan for the Lebap velayat, the velayat department of justice, the velayat court, public organizations, and also students became its participants.
