FIFA is looking for talents in Turkmenistan

The International Football Federation (FIFA) will implement a new project in Turkmenistan to search for talents and develop players for national teams.

The details of the project were presented by FIFA regional technical consultant Gaioz Darsadze, who was in Turkmenistan on a two-day visit (May 17-19).

As reported on the website of the Football Federation of Turkmenistan, during the visit, Darsadze discussed with the leadership of the federation and specialists of the technical department the FIFA talent development project, which will be implemented in Turkmenistan starting from 2023.

It should be noted that thanks to the new project, the FFT will receive analysis and research on Turkmen football and, in particular, talent search and resource management in relation to national teams, local tournaments, football academies and coach training.

Let us remind that in the city of Arkadag it is planned to build a FIFA training and methodological center. The construction of this facility was discussed at the meeting of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov with the head of FIFA, Gianni Infantino, who visited Turkmenistan in early May 2023.
