Referees from Turkmenistan are invited to officiate the matches of the championship of the Central Asian Football Association among youth teams under 20 years old.
According to the Football Federation of Turkmenistan, FIFA referee Arslan Goshshanov and FIFA referee assistant Shageldi Hydyrov will work at the CAFA-2023 (U-20) tournament. Oraz Mammadgeldiyev was invited to the tournament as an inspector.
The championship within the framework of the Central Asian Football Association will be held from 21 to 28 May in Dushanbe and Tursunzade (Tajikistan). Five games will be held at the CSKA stadium in Dushanbe, five more matches will be hosted by the TALKO-Arena stadium in Tursunzade.
The youth team of Turkmenistan will perform in the youth championship CAFA-2023. According to the regulations of the tournament, each team will play with each other in one round. The winning team will be determined by the highest number of points scored.
Turkmenistan will play its opening match on May 21 against the team of Afghanistan.
