Freight Train With China's Electric Tools Departs to Central Asia

A China-Europe freight train with China's exports of electric tools departed from east China's Jinhua to Central Asian countries on Thursday.

The first-of-its-kind train will deliver 100 TEUs of electric tools such as drills, wrenches, grinders and hammers to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, the Chinese state news agency Xinhua reports.

The freight train has become the 1000th train to run to and from Jinhua since the city's China-Europe freight train service was launched in August 2017.

The city in Zhejiang Province has developed 18 China-Europe freight train routes connecting more than 120 cities in over 10 countries, including France, Hungary, Russia, Belarus, Azerbaijan and the countries of Central Asia.
