Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Chairman of Halk Maslakhaty chamber of Turkmen bicameral parliament Milli Gengesh, arrived on Tuesday in Russia’s capital Moscow on a three-day friendly visit, the Interstate Television and Radio Company Mir reports.
At the airport, the Halk Maslakhaty Chairman was greeted by the the Chairperson of the Federation Council of Russia Valentina Matvienko.
The program of Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov's visit to Moscow includes a photo exhibition dedicated to cooperation between the two countries and a speech at the Federation Council. He will also hold a round table with the participation of Russian senators.
In August, the Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with the Order "For Merits to the Fatherland" IV degree.
