The HBO channel will shoot a series based on the Harry Potter books: information about this appeared on the studio's Twitter account, writes the “Izvestia” newspaper.
According to HBO CEO Casey Bloys, the series will be filmed in strict accordance with each of the seven Potter books, with each book given an entire season.
Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling will also serve as an executive producer on the series.
