On 9 May the “Immortal regiment” campaign was organized in Ashgabat.
As we have previously reported on 9 May the flower-laying ceremonies to the monuments of military glory were held in all cities across Turkmenistan.
The march was not planned as, according some unofficial sources, no permission was given by the authorities.
As the residents of Ashgabat informed the Chronicles of Turkmenista, the march was held but only students of the Russian school named after Pushkin under the Embassy of the Russian Federation participated in it.
The remaining residents got together in the park in front of the monument to Kemine and sang war songs.
