In Italy, 70 people over 100 years old gathered together

In the Italian city of Padua, a new world record was set: 70 people whose age exceeds 100 years gathered in one place. The total age of the participants in this unique meeting was more than 7000 years. This is reported by pravilamag.ru with reference to the website of the Guinness World Records.

The event was organized by the Opera Immacolata Foundation, known for its activities in supporting older people. The foundation manages 11 nursing homes throughout Italy and has been organizing similar meetings annually for 15 years, with the number of participants constantly growing.

Among those present was 109 years old Marcato Antoneitta, who shared her secrets to longevity. She noted the importance of exercise, healthy eating, curiosity, reading and family support.

All participants received memorable blue cockades and gifts in honor of this significant event.

The previous record was set in 2016 in Australia, where the Queensland Community Care Network collected 45 centenarians.
