Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen arrived in Ashgabat to open an embassy. He wrote about this on his Twitter, adding that relations with Turkmenistan are of great importance.
"This visit will strengthen the position of the State of Israel in the region," the head of Israeli diplomacy believes.
Earlier it was reported that during the visit, Cohen will also meet with Turkmen officials.
