Korean engineers will train Turkmen shipbuilders according to international standards

As part of the cooperation between the Balkan Shipbuilding and Shiprepair Plant and the Korean company Koryo Shipbuilding Industry Technology Co., Ltd. The selection of Turkmen specialists in the field of shipbuilding for specialized training began.

As reported on the website tmrl.gov.tm, Korean partners highly appreciated the competence of the plant’s employees, who already have extensive experience in ship repair. The training will be carried out for the subsequent receipt of an international certificate of conformity for admission to shipbuilding from the classification society Bureau Veritas.

The selection will take place in several stages in the form of practical tasks and interviews. Based on the selection results, the best Turkmen specialists will undergo training under the guidance of experienced Korean engineers.

This training will allow Turkmen shipbuilding to reach a new level, improve the qualifications of specialists, and improve the quality of ships, the source notes.
