Lavrov and Meredov discussed agenda of the VI Caspian Summit in Turkmenistan

Today, at the talks in Moscow, Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov discussed with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov the agenda of the VI Caspian Summit to be held in Turkmenistan in 2022.

To recap, on the eve, during the working meeting by video, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov instructed Rashid Meredov to discuss issues related to the preparation and holding of the VI Summit of the Heads of the Caspian States in Turkmenistan.

Initially, the VI Caspian Summit was to be held in Turkmenistan in 2021. However, later it was known of its reschedule to 2022.
