Monday Trading on SCRMET Sees Strong Demand for Gasoline

Transactions for the purchase of gasoline and cotton yarn totaling $45.1 million were concluded at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) on Monday, the exchange reported.

Entrepreneurs from Afghanistan, Türkiye, Tajikistan, Ukraine and the UAE purchased ECO-93 automotive gasoline produced by the State Concern Turkmenhimiya.

Turkish entrepreneurs also concluded deals with local traders for the purchase of cotton yarn totaling $86,680.

A total of 10 transactions were registered during Monday’s trading session on SCRMET.
