Monday Trading on SCRMET Sees Strong Demand for LNG

Transactions for the purchase of liquefied gas totaling $7.19 million were concluded at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) on Monday, the exchange reported.

Entrepreneurs from Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and the United Arab Emirates purchased liquefied gas produced by the State Concern Turkmengaz.

A total of six transactions were registered during Monday’s trading session on SCRMET.

Founded in 1994, the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan is the country’s principal platform for regulating export-import trade operations.
