Monument to Mahtumkuli Fragi unveiled in Iran

A monument to the Turkmen poet and thinker Mahtumkuli Fragi was solemnly unveiled on the square at the entrance to the city of Gombede-Kavus in the Golestan province of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mehr agency reports.

Funds for its creation were allocated by the city municipality.

Today, there are monuments to the Turkmen poet in Russia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Ukraine and other countries.
