Oguz Han University of Engineering and Technology was ranked 432nd in the UI GreenMetric rankings for 2023, improving its position by 205 ranks compared to last year. This is a significant achievement for the Turkmen university, which is committed to sustainable development.
The UI GreenMetric ranking evaluates universities around the world in six categories: environmental awareness, energy and climate change, waste management, transportation and sustainability. This year, 1 183 universities participated in the ranking.
The Turkmen university has achieved significant success in all six categories of the ranking, and also showed a significant increase in the overall score - from 5220 to 6660 compared to 2022.
Oguz Han University of Engineering and Technology also became the leader among eight universities in Turkmenistan that were included in the UI GreenMetric ranking. This confirms his authority and prestige in the scientific and educational community.
