OJSC “Shavat” increases the production of butter products

The enterprise of OJSC “Shavat” located in Dashoguz city increased the production volume starting this year. The country's trade network delivered products worth about four million manat, which is almost twice as high as the same period last year. Butter, brynza, sour cream, cottage cheese and other tasty and nutritious products from “Shavat” enjoy an increased consumer demand.

The enterprise of OJSC “Shavat” can be cited as one of the successful examples of the privatization of state property.The “Yupek Yoly Gurlushik”, having bought four years ago out 100 percent of the shares of the Dashoguz Butter-Dairy Plant on a tender basis managed through technological modernization to preserve the specialization of the enterprise and develop an effective marketing strategy in the context of the import substitution program.

It has installed high-tech equipment of the Turkish company STC “Makina”, capable of producing more than fifteen tons of high-quality dairy products per day.
