Prices for some goods will be reduced by 50% in Turkmenistan

Prices for some goods in Turkmenistan will be cut by 50%. This was stated by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, giving the relevant instructions during today's meeting of the Government to the Deputy Prime Ministers, the “Vatan” news program of the Turkmen television reported.

According to Berdimuhamedov, on these pre-New Year days, it is necessary to create all conditions so that people can buy gifts for their relatives and friends, as well as celebrate the New Year with dignity.

Addressing Deputy Prime Minister Chary Gylyjov, the head of state ordered from December 25 to January 1 of the New Year to organize a festive sale of industrial and food products in the markets and shops of the country.

Earlier, at meetings of the Government, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov demanded that the supply of the domestic market with a wide range of foodstuffs be kept under constant control and that prices not rise. And at the last meeting, the head of the Turkmen state instructed Deputy Prime Minister Serdar Berdimuhamedov to control prices on markets in the regions.
