A seminar was held in Dubai (UAE) within the framework of the FIFA Forward 3.0 program, which was attended by representatives of football associations from the countries of Central and South Asia.
The Football Federation of Turkmenistan was represented at this seminar by International Relations Manager Oraz Mammetgeldiyev, Head of Financial Department Ovadan Annaorazova and Finance Specialist Jumagul Orazova.
According to Sport.kg, the two-day workshop was aimed at studying the principles and requirements of the new cycle of the FIFA Forward program.
During the seminar, new FIFA programs in the areas of technical development and the development of women's football were presented. In addition, representatives of the associations had the opportunity to participate in a separate session with FIFA specialists and experts for a deeper understanding and to get answers to questions about the program.
Separately, it was noted that since the launch of FIFA Forward in 2016, the program has allocated more than 2,8 billion USD to implement a variety of plans and projects in support of 211 associations.
In the current cycle, which ends in 2026, funding levels have risen significantly, investments have increased by almost 30%, with a significant part of the investments aimed at supporting FIFA's goal of attracting 60 million female players to participate in football around the world.
The FIFA Forward program aims to “step change” in the global development of football and is based on the principles of providing comprehensive and individual support to each of the member associations.
