SCRMET Sees Over $32 Million in Export Deals

Export transactions totaling $32.37 million were concluded at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) on Saturday, the exchange reported.

Business representatives from the United Arab Emirates and Afghanistan purchased road petroleum bitumen and hydrotreated diesel fuel produced by the state-owned Türkmennebit concern.

Last week, SCRMET recorded 12 transactions.

Established by presidential decree on July 29, 1994, SCRMET serves as the main state body regulating Turkmenistan’s export and import operations.
