Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved the "Rules for the sanitary protection of the territory of Turkmenistan”

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed the Decree, approving the “Rules for the sanitary protection of the territory of Turkmenistan”.

The document was signed in accordance with the Sanitary Code, the Laws of Turkmenistan “On the protection of the health of citizens” and “On the prevention of infectious diseases”, as well as in order to protect the country's territory from the importation and spread of infectious diseases, improve sanitary quarantine and medical control, taking into account international requirements.

The document instructs the relevant ministries and departments, local executive authorities to ensure compliance with the approved Rules, according to today's “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper.
