At an expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on July 10 in the year Independent Neutral Turkmenistan Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses and dedicated to the results of the work carried out in Turkmenistan during the first six months of this year, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, emphasizing the importance of continuing the modernization of enterprises belonging to the oil and gas complex, consistently increasing production capacities, improving the efficiency of geological exploration activities and identifying new hydrocarbon fields, as well as advancing the production of environmentally friendly products, gave relevant instructions in this regard.
Proceeding from these tasks, workers and specialists of the production units of the State concern Türkmennebit are working with even greater enthusiasm to achieve high results in the year when the glorious 35th anniversary of the sacred Independence of our Motherland will be solemnly celebrated.
Over the past six months of this landmark year, the volume of “black gold extracted from the depths of the earth by the State Concern has approached 2 million 53 thousand tonnes.
In the departments of the Nebitgazçykaryş trust, 155 thousand 800 tonnes of oil were produced above the established plan during the reporting period, with the target fulfilled at 108.5 percent.
At the same time, the State enterprise Hazarnebit, which operates in the coastal area under the concern, produced 1 thousand 227 tonnes of oil above the planned volume.In addition, compared with the same period of the previous year, the growth rate achieved in crude oil production across the entire concern approached 101 percent.
During the reporting period, oil and gas production departments extracted and supplied consumers with 2 billion 454 million 626 thousand cubic metres of natural gas.The Gas Production Department Körpeje, as well as the oil and gas production departments Keýmir, Goturdepenebit and Gumdagnebit, demonstrated exemplary performance in obtaining significant volumes of associated gas.
Among the resource-rich fields, the most outstanding success in black gold production was achieved by the Keýmir Oil and Gas Production Department.During the reporting period, this enterprise increased the volume of oil produced from operating wells to 236 thousand 613 tonnes, fulfilling the target at 122 percent.
The oil and gas production departments Goturdepenebit” and Ýaşyldepe also made a significant contribution to the success achieved during the first six months of the year.At these advanced enterprises, the plans for the reporting period were fulfilled by more than 111 and 115 percent respectively.
The consistent strengthening of the material and technical base of the concern’s production structures with modern equipment and facilities also has a decisive impact on the current achievements.
It should be noted that, thanks to the efforts of our esteemed President, high-quality capital repair works are being carried out at wells that have reduced or completely ceased production at the production facilities of the Nebitgazdüýpliabatlaýyş trust of the concern, equipped with multifunctional and powerful lifting units.
Using modern equipment, complex repair works are successfully performed at temporarily inactive and operating oil and gas wells, while the timely restoration and commissioning of wells awaiting major repairs are also ensured.
During the first six months of this year, capital repairs were carried out on 216 wells under the departments of the aforementioned trust, and these wells were returned to production.
Due to the commissioning of these restored wells, the additional oil production volume across the concern amounted to 93 thousand 348 tonnes, with the plan fulfilled at 158 percent.
The volume of additionally produced natural gas during this period reached 210 million 96 thousand cubic metres, meaning that the target was exceeded sevenfold.Drilling departments of the State Concern play a special role in the consistent growth of fuel production volumes.
During the reporting period, the departments belonging to the Nebitgazburawlaýyş trust, which possesses some of the most advanced and powerful drilling rigs in the world, brought the total depth of drilled rock formations to 67 thousand 516 metres, fulfilling the target at almost 112 percent.
At the same time, during the past six months, the total volume of rock formations drilled above the plan amounted to 7 thousand 516 metres.The drilling departments also successfully fulfilled the overall plan for drilling new production and exploration wells.
During the first half of the year, the total number of new wells where drilling operations were successfully completed by the departments of the Nebitgazburawlaýyş trust reached 12, which is one well more than planned.
It is especially noteworthy that 11 of these new wells are production wells.From these wells, which are currently being successfully brought into industrial operation, the volume of extracted crude oil reaches hundreds of tonnes per day.
The products produced from hydrocarbon raw materials at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries of the State Concern fully meet the highest quality standards.At this complex, which is being consistently modernized and continuously expanded with new production facilities, significant results were also achieved in the production of oil and petrochemical products during the reporting period.
The plan for processing and bringing crude oil supplied to the refinery complex to marketable standards was fulfilled at 102 percent.A total of 702.1 thousand tonnes of various types of high-quality gasoline, 202.4 thousand tonnes of kerosene, 728.5 thousand tonnes of diesel fuel, 33.8 thousand tonnes of polypropylene, 86 thousand tonnes of liquefied gas, 244.4 tonnes of petroleum bitumen, as well as 28.7 thousand tonnes of lubricating oils were produced, exceeding the planned targets.
