Subject Olympiads for schoolchildren have begun at a Turkmen institute in honour of International education day

On the 6th of April, the Institute of international relations of the Ministry of foreign affairs of Turkmenistan held the first stage of subject Olympiads among 12th-grade students of secondary schools across the country, dedicated to International education day.

Intellectual competitions in the history of Turkmenistan, mathematics, Turkmen, and English languages brought together approximately 800 schoolchildren from Ashgabat, Arkadag, and all velayats of the country.The main goal of the competition is to identify young talent, promote career guidance for schoolchildren, determine their level of preparation in specialised subjects for entrance exams, as well as develop the intellectual abilities of students, and cultivate erudite youth capable of skillfully applying innovative technologies and independently solving complex problems.

The results of the first round will be announced shortly on the official website of the institute.The students who demonstrate the best results will be eligible to participate in the second and final round of the Olympiad, which will take place on the 27th of April.

Participants who take I, II and III places, as well as those who receive incentive places, will be awarded certificates of honour and gifts.The awards ceremony will take place at the institute on the 8th of May as part of the Open day for future institute applicants.
