Thanks to our colleagues and readers

Dear readers and colleagues, dear friends!

Our editorial board has had hard days after we learned about the attack on the apartment of our mother and grandmother.

We are moved that so many readers offered words of support to us. Thank you!

We would like to thank our fellow journalists from Radio “Azatlyk”, “Gundogar”, ANT, the information agency “Fergana”, “Salam (TurkmenWorld)” group and others for information support.

We are grateful to our colleagues from human rights organizations, who provided a split second response and prepared the address urging to stop persecution of Kh. Izbastinova and carry out the investigation into the incident.

This gives us strength and assurance that the work we dedicated many years to needs to be continued. We are not alone.

As regards the incident in Dashoguz, Khalida Izbastinova is feeling better. The police have accepted the application and initiated the investigation by questioning neighbors and other potential witnesses. Police are searching for the perpetrators who broke the windows.

Thank you and all the best to you and your families!

Best regards,

Farid and Ruslan Tukhbatullins
