The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Tbilisi D. Seyitmammedov met with the rector of the Georgian Technical University D. Gurgenidze on Thursday.
The parties reviewed the development of bilateral relations in the fields of education, science and culture. In this regard, issues of strengthening relations between educational institutions of the two countries, organizing mutual visits, joint conferences, lectures, and implementing joint educational and scientific projects were discussed.
In light of the 300th anniversary of the great Turkmen poet and philosopher Magtymguly Fragi, celebrated this year, D. Seyitmammedov briefed the rector on the events dedicated to this date.
The parties expressed their readiness for further cooperation to build and strengthen potential in the scientific, educational, cultural and humanitarian spheres, reports the IIC.
