The Ambassador of Turkmenistan in Yerevan met with the Deputy Chairman of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Armenia

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Yerevan Muhammetgeldi Ayazov on Wednesday met with the Deputy Chairman of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Armenia Nerses Karamanukyan to discuss issues on the trade and economic agenda. This was reported on the website of the Turkmen Embassy.

Noting the growth of trade between Turkmenistan and Armenia, the parties considered the aspect of establishing contacts between businessmen and entrepreneurs of the two countries.

The Turkmen diplomat spoke about the newly built city of Arkadag, which is scheduled to open on June 29.

Within the framework of the implementation of the National Program for the Socio-Economic Development of Turkmenistan in 2022-2052, further improving the living standards of the population and developing industry in the regions, service and production facilities for the production of medicines and medical products, as well as food and industrial goods will be built in the city of Arkadag, he noted.

On this occasion, international tenders will be held to select contractors for the construction of enterprises, the ambassador added.
