The Turkmenistan swimming team will arrive in Armenia in March to participate in training camps in the city of Tsakhkadzor.This became known during a meeting between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Armenia Muhammetgeldi Ayazov and the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic Zhanna Andreasyan, the press service of the Turkmen diplomatic department in Yerevan said in a statement.
During the meeting, the parties touched upon issues of the bilateral cultural, humanitarian, scientific, educational, and sports agenda. An agreement was also reached to expand the legal framework in these areas.
Earlier it was reported that Armenian hockey players were invited to take part in the International Hockey Tournament, which will be held from April 15 to 20 in Ashgabat.
