The Ambassador of Turkmenistan presented his credentials to the President of France

The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to France Maksat Charyev presented his credentials to President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron.

The reception was held on October 13 at the Elysee Palace in Paris, the official website of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in France reports.

The Turkmen diplomat conveyed best wishes to Emmanuel Macron on behalf of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

Expressing gratitude for the warm wishes on behalf of the leadership of Turkmenistan, Emmanuel Macron asked the Ambassador to convey the warmest and most friendly greetings to the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and also expressed the wishes of peace and prosperity to the people of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, the potential for cooperation in the political, economic and humanitarian spheres was noted.

In 2022, Turkmenistan and France celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.

We remind that the decree on the appointment of Maksat Charyev as the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to France (Paris) was signed by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov in July 2022. By Presidential Decree, he was given the diplomatic rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.
