The amount of foreign exchange transactions on the exchange of Turkmenistan exceeded 116 million US dollars

158 transactions were registered at the trading sessions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan for a week.

For foreign currency, entrepreneurs from Great Britain, United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Switzerland, Malta, Afghanistan and other countries purchased aviation kerosene, motor gasoline, hydrotreated diesel fuel, heating oil, petroleum bitumen, produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries.

Also, businessmen from the UAE, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan bought ECO 93 gasoline (SC “Turkmenga”), and representatives of the business circles of Kazakhstan - carbamide (SC “Turkmenhimiya”).

Moreover, colorless sheet glass, cotton yarn, dry liquorice extract were purchased for foreign currency. Purchasing countries are United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Serbia, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan. The total amount of transactions exceeded 116 million US dollars.

For national currency, businessmen from United Arab Emirates, Scotland, Kazakhstan purchased cotton yarn for the total amount of more than 15 million manats.

Local entrepreneurs purchased polyethylene of the highest density and polypropylene (SC “Turkmengas”), also handmade carpets for total sum of 320 million manats for the inner market
