SCRMET Records Over $25.5 Million Worth of Transactions on Thursday

The total value of foreign currency transactions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) on Thursday totalled $25.5 million, the State Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan reports.

Business representatives from the UAE and Malta purchased low-sulphur fuel oil from Turkmennebit (Turkmen Oil). The total value of the transactions amounted to $19.35 million.

Furthermore, business representatives from Türkiye and Afghanistan have successfully concluded a deal to purchase urea "B" with a total value of $6.165 million. These specific products, available at SCRMET trades, are manufactured by the enterprise of the State Concern Turkmenhimiya (Turkmen Chemistry).

Azerbaijani traders signed a deal to purchase cotton yarn at the trades of Turkmenistan's State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange (SCRMET) on Tuesday.
