A concert of masters of culture and art from the countries of Turkmenistan and Tajikistan “Evening of Friendship” took place at the Kokhi Borbad State Complex in Dushanbe. National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon took part in the festive celebration, TDH reports.
Famous cultural figures and masters of art from Turkmenistan and Tajikistan presented song and musical compositions that reflected long-standing national and good neighborly traditions and friendly relations between the two states to distinguished guests and members of government delegations.
The concert became a striking example of successful cultural cooperation and an important factor in the development and expansion of multifaceted ties for the benefit of the peoples of both countries.
Upon its completion, the Tajik leader invited Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov to the Novruz Palace. Here, in honor of the distinguished Turkmen guest, the head of Tajikistan gave an official dinner.
