The President of Tajikistan received an invitation to visit Turkmenistan

The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, within the framework of a two-day official visit to Dushanbe, held a meeting with the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.

During the negotiations, the National Leader of Turkmen conveyed an invitation to the head of Tajikistan to visit Turkmenistan on behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

As it is known, this year the anniversary date is widely celebrated at the international level - the 300th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Turkmen poet and thinker, the internationally recognized classic of Eastern literature Magtymguly Fragi.

In this regard, we have decided to hold an International Forum of Heads of State and Government dedicated to the anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi on October 11, 2024 in Ashgabat.

According to our vision, this will be a Summit of politicians, in which leaders of various countries and authoritative international organizations will take part”, - said the National Leader of the Turkmen people.

As Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty noted, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent an invitation message to Emomali Rahmon, emphasizing that the Turkmen side counts on the personal participation of the head of Tajikistan in this meeting.

It is worth noting that, as part of the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi, on May 1718, 2024, the International Conference of Ministers of Culture will also be held in Ashgabat, in which the Tajik side will be represented by the Minister of Culture of Tajikistan.
