The state information agency TDH reports that on 5 August, 2020 President Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov finalized his new book.
The new writing by the head of state entitled “The spiritual world of Turkmen” is devoted to national traditions.
According to the news outlet, in 12 chapters of the book Berdymukhammedov elaborates on “the beauty of life, prosperity, eternity of existence, the meaning of science and education in the development of the society, principles of healthy lifestyle, hard work, hospitality, friendly and fraternal relations, ethics and unity”.
Moreover, special emphasis was laid to folk proverbs, sayings and wise adages, which might enrich writings when used skillfully.
It should be pointed out that the President has been interested in Turkmen proverbs for a while.In January 2020 he charged Deputy Prime Minister overseeing culture and mass media Bakhargul Abdyeva (who has currently assumed a new post) to collect and catalogue proverbs and saying as well as obsolete words which are the priceless heritage of the nation.
In June Berdymukhammedov addressed the words of encouragement and guidance to farmers by quoting about twenty proverbs.
Let us recall that three days ago all writings authored by the President as well as 11 volumes of the collection of his adages (a total of 63 books) were published online.
