1. The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov demanded to ensure the high quality of agricultural work during a working video conference with the hyakims of the velayats and Deputy Prime Minister Tangryguly Atahallyev, who is in charge of the agro-industrial complex.
2.An exhibition has opened at the Exhibition Center of the Union of Artists of Turkmenistan, presenting the best works of national architecture and urban planning created in recent years, as well as new architectural projects for Ashgabat and the city of Arkadag.
The exhibition entitled “Architecture of the era of Arkadag” is organized by the Union of Architects of the country with the support of the Ashgabat hyakimlik and the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan.
3.Turkmenistan entered the top 10 most active participants in Asiavision.This became known at the end of the first day of the ABU Global News Forum 2023, which takes place in Malaysia on July 10-12.
According to the International Information Center, Turkmenistan was ranked seventh in the prestigious rating, having sent about 300 materials over the previous 12 months.
4.The Mukams Palace of the State Cultural Center hosted a presentation of a new book by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov “Continuing the meaning of my life”.
The book, unique in its content and meaning, summarizes information about the achievements of independent neutral Turkmenistan, contains information about the national spiritual and moral values of the Turkmen people, passed down from generation to generation, as well as the wise thoughts and reflections of the author.
5.The Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan announced the start of the third season of the intellectual competition “Young Heralds of the World”.
The competition is held by the School of Young Diplomats and invites high school students of the country to participate.The third season consists of 8 qualifying games, two semi-finals and a final.
The general theme is “The Teachings of the Great Magtymguly Fragi the National Beacon of Human Values”.
6. Tours of artists of the Big Moscow State Circus on Vernadsky Prospekt and the Nikulin Moscow Circus on Tsvetnoy Boulevard began in the Turkmen capital. A bright show, including the best numbers of famous groups, will be held at the arena of the State Circus of Turkmenistan daily, until July 23 inclusive.

7.The largest German newspaper Bild has a new editor-in-chief - artificial intelligence.AI will also be entrusted with the functions of a text editor, proofreader, secretary and photo editor.
Bild representatives believe that shifting some of the responsibilities of journalists to artificial intelligence will allow them to pay more attention to creativity and writing texts.It is planned to fully implement AI as an editor-in-chief by the beginning of next year.
8. “Roskosmos” and the Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center announced the start of an open recruitment for the cosmonaut corps.Any Russian under the age of 35 can participate in the competition if all the requirements are met.
This is the fourth open recruitment for the Russian cosmonaut corps.In 2012 and 2018, eight candidates each passed the tests; in 2021, four people passed the tests.
Now the detachment consists of 26 cosmonauts.

9.On the coast of Issyk-Kul, the West Asian Youth Chess Championship among chess players under 6-18 years old has ended.Turkmen athletes won one medal in classical chess.
Begli Annagylyjov won the bronze medal in the under 6 categories with 7 points.Let us note that more than 280 players from Bangladesh, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Oman, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and players under the flag of the International Chess Federation (FIDE) took part in the competition.
10.In the first semi-final match of the Cup of Kyrgyzstan on football, “Abdysh-Ata” hosted “Alai” from Osh.The meeting was held in Kant at the “Nitro Arena” stadium and ended in a draw with a score of 0:0.
Turkmen defender Teymur Charyev entered the field from the first minutes and played a full match.The Kant football players came out for a warm-up before the game in special T-shirts in support of the team's forward Nurmat Sakebaev, who was injured.
In another semi-final meeting, “Kara-Balta” hosted “Muras United” at home and suffered a crushing defeat with a score of 1:4.The return matches of the 1/2 finals of the Cup of Kyrgyzstan are scheduled for July 15-16, and the final - for August 31.
