The President of Turkmenistan opened the second stage of the Lebap cement plant

On March 13, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the commissioning ceremony of the second stage of the Lebap cement plant with a capacity of 1 million tons of cement per year in the Koytendag etrap of Lebap velayat, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

The opening of a new production facility is aimed at meeting the growing demand for high-quality cement amid active construction in the country.

In February 2013, the first stage of the Lebap cement plant was launched, 350 km from the city of Turkmenabat. The second stage of the enterprise was built by the economic society Türkmen enjam. The industrial giant is equipped with the latest equipment from the world's leading manufacturers that meets high quality standards.

The implementation of the project ensured full automation of production processes and the creation of comfortable working conditions. Particular attention is paid to environmentally friendly production. Emissions of harmful substances are significantly lower than permissible standards; powerful filters are used to purify them.

Placing the plant close to raw material extraction sites will ensure uninterrupted operation and reduce production costs. For quality control, a laboratory and a technical control department have been created, and there is also a repair shop.

The new plant will provide high-performance, cost-effective and environmentally friendly production of cement needed for construction in Turkmenistan.
