The President of Turkmenistan ordered to control the financing of wages to workers until December 20

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has ordered to keep under strict control the financing of wages for employees of all enterprises and institutions, regardless of ownership, until December 20, TDH reports.

This order was given during a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, where Deputy Prime Minister Hojamyrat Geldimyradov reported on macroeconomic indicators for January-November of this year.

According to the report, Turkmenistan’s GDP increased by 6.3 percent during this period, and the volume of manufactured products increased by 12.1 percent compared to the same period last year.

In the industrial sector, the growth rate was 2.2 percent, in construction 11 percent, in the transport and communications sector 7.1 percent, in trade 9.5 percent, in agriculture 5.3 percent, and in the service sector 8.7 percent.

The President stressed the importance of constant analysis of the economic situation and increasing the revenue side of the State Budget, and also noted the importance of timely financing of wages for the stable development of the country’s economy.
