The Swiss company introduced a car for teenagers

The Swiss company Micro Mobility Systems presented the production version of the compact electric vehicle Microlino Lite, aimed at young drivers. The presentation took place at the Geneva Motor Show, Mail.ru reports with reference to The Verge.

In some European countries, Microlino Lite can be driven by teenagers over 14 years of age who have a moped license.

The maximum speed of the Microlino Lite is limited to 45 km/h, the length of the electric car is 2,5 m, and the weight does not exceed 600 kg.

The peak power of the electric motor is 12 hp.The base 5,5 kWh battery provides a range of up to 100 km on a single charge.

A larger 11 kWh battery increases the range to 177 km.

Microlino Lite will be available for leasing at a price of 156 euros per month. The leasing period is 48 months, and the mileage is limited to 5 thousand km per year.

Teenagers in France and Italy will be able to drive such a car from the age of 14, and from the age of 15 in Sweden, Germany, Austria and Spain.
