The national football team of Turkmenistan will hold training camps in Dubai before the most important qualifying games for the 2026 World Cup and the 2027 Asian Cup against the Iranian national team.
As Turkmenportal learned, on the night of March 11-12, the football players will go to the United Arab Emirates, where they will prepare for the upcoming matches. On March 14 in Dubai, the Turkmen team will play a test match with the national team of Kazakhstan.
After this, head coach Mergen Orazov’s team will fly to Tehran to play against the Iranian national team within the framework of the qualifying round of the 2026 World Cup and the 2027 Asian Cup. The match will be held on March 21 at the legendary “Azadi” stadium.
Upon returning to Ashgabat, Turkmen football players will continue preparing for the return game against the Iranians, which will be held on March 26.
