Three Turkmen films sent to the festival in Uijeongbu

Three films produced by "Turkmenfilm" named after Oguzhan were sent to the Republic of Korea to participate in the Central Asian Film Festival, which will be held in Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi Province.

According to the publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age", these are Arslan Eeberdiev's Istärin, Sahysalykh Bayramov's Gyzyl kürte and Hekim Alovov's Gyzyl alma.

The festival is a platform for showing the best films from Central Asian countries that are little known in Korea.

On April 28, the opening ceremony of the festival will be held at Shinhan University, and on April 29, films from five countries of Central Asia - Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, as well as three specially invited countries - Azerbaijan, Mongolia and Indonesia will be screened.

Film screenings will take place at Shinhan University Gymnasium and local cinemas (CGV Uijeongbu, Megabox Millak).

Filmmakers will present their best works in various genres, including films that recently participated in the Busan International Film Festival in Korea.
